Daddy and the Hammock

Brett put up a Hammock a few Sundays ago. Brett and Kaiya love it! It's become there new Daddy Daughter time. Brett has taken on a second job so he is gone a lot. But every chance he gets he cuddles with Kaiya out on the Hammock

Splish Splash

My little Kaiya loves the bath. We put a little bit of water in there and just let her splash around and she LOVES IT. Kaiya had her 4 month check up yesterday and did awesome. They said she is right on track. The Dr said she is the size of the average 2 month old haha. Her head is in the 10% and her weight the 15%. He said though she is Extremely strong her her age and size. He also said to start her out on food. So today I mixed a little bit of apple sauce in with her rice cereal. She did sooo much better. She ate it all and we managed to keep it not to messy. I can't believe she is already 4 months old. Brett and I just can't get enough of her. She is such a happy fun baby. I love you Kaiya!!

Photo Shoot

So an Awesome friend of mine Tam offered to do a Photo Shoot of Kaiya. I got Kaiya well rested and a big bottle and off we went. Kaiya pretty much talked through the whole thing when she wasn't being fussy. I think she is teething or something. Kaiya was the happiest when we got her naked and let her stand up. It was so funny. Even when she peed on the blanket right after I took her Diaper off. That girl just loves to be naked. But I think Tam did an amazing job.

Who ever created Baby Einstein was a Genius. Kaiya loves it, which means I love it. Cause I can get stuff done YAY!!

Kaiya had a Play Date

This is Kaiya's little friend Kylee. Kaiya is only a week older then Kylee. The two girls just love Baby Einstein. They both just sat back and enjoyed giving us Mom's a chance to catch up.

So after taking these pictures I went to lay down to read my book and I fell asleep. It was about 3 when I fell asleep and about 7:20 when I woke up again. Thank you Brett for letting me sleep. I don't know why but I have just been so tired lately. But I am sure Kaiya loved her Daddy time. She always seems to be happy when Daddy is around. But then again so am I. Aren't we lucky!!

Brunch with the Ladies

So my friend Mary Helen is simply amazing. She invited a few of us girls over for brunch and a craft. She got us all the supplies to make these cute Cupcake/cake platters. While we were making them she served us Brunch. Yummy Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins, Apples with yogurt and granola, Canadian bacon with homemade pumpkin butter. It was all soooooo Good!!!. Even Kaiya had a few friends to play with. We are going to try and do this once a month and take turns hosting. Next month is my turn. So if anyone had any ideas on a craft let me know. I decided I am going to make bread bowls with homemade soup. It's going to be hard to follow Mary Helen but I'll try.

I love Diaper Time!

Kaiya was being SOOOOO funny today. Well I actually think she is everyday. She just loves to talk and talk and talk. She looks like her Daddy but man she can talk like her Mommy. she was just having so much fun playing footsies with Daddy today.

Not sure she is ready

I tried to feed Kaiya some rice cereal today. To be honest I think she ended up with more on her then in her. That's the mess she made with 1 small bite haha.

Isn't My Husband Cute!!

The other day I was having a pretty bad day. Since money is something we are lacking big time Brett took random things around the house to make a surprise for me when I got home. The funny thing is when he did it he had no idea I was even having a bad day. I don't think I could tell her I love you enough for all that he does for our family. I know times are hard right now, but his hard work will pay off.

Baby Sign Language

So I have decided I want to teach Kaiya baby sign language. It looks so neat. If any of you have tried it and have any advice let me know.
