Smores

We went to the web's house last Friday to do smores. It was a lot of fun. Kaiya also had a ton of fun playing with her little friend Stella and getting licked by the dog. Brett and I have been so lucky to have so many fun friends out here that like to get together often.

I went in to check on Kaiya during her nap, she likes to kick her blankets off. When I went in her room, this is how I found her. I couldn't help but laugh.

Baby on the Run

So I didn't realize how Mobile Kaiya was getting. For those of you who don't know I baby sit two other babies then my own. So during the Day Kaiya naps on my Bed so the other girls can sleep in her room. I put pillows up around her. Well While I was trying to get flights taken care of out to Utah and Kaiya was napping my room I hear a loud bang followed with a scream. I ran into my room to find Kaiya Laying on the floor with a Bright red nose. I felt soooo bad. I picked her up and as soon as I got her to stop screaming she looked at me and laughed. I love how happy my baby is. She helped her Mom to see their is always something to smile about. But since then we have to work out new sleeping arrangements.

Well while we were in Utah I got to see two of my Brothers I haven't seen in awhile ( they weren't there for Christmas) along with their wives and kids. My Brother Travis has a son Jackson who is a month older then Kaiya. It was so fun to watch the two of them play together. We stayed the night at My Brother Dave's house. Kaiya loved all the attention she got from their 5 kids, oh and of course their dog Sandler. It was good to see the family all together again. Kaiya enjoyed getting to play with all of her Utah Cousins again.... and the Alabama one too :)

My Grandpa and My Mom



So about an hour after my last post I called my Mom and found out My Grandma had Passed away. I didn't think it would be as hard on me as it has been. My Grandma played an active rule in my life. I will miss her a ton. I was able to go out to Utah for the Funeral. Getting there and back was a whole other story. But I was happy to be able to be there. It was hard to see my Mom, Uncles and Especially my Grandpa so Sad. My Grandma and Grandpa had been married for, I think it is 63 years. I know I will be able to see her again someday which helps.

Always in My Heart!

Anyone who knows me knows I have a very hard time with Good Byes. I hate losing contact with anyone. I try my best to keep up with all my friends, in all the many places I have lived.

When I was younger I would sometimes go spend the summer's with my Grandparents. They even took me to the beach and Disneyland one year. Just me, which was exciting to have all that attention on me when I had 6 other brothers and sisters. Well when it was time to leave my parents to go with my grandparents I would just cry and cry and cry to have to leave them. But never failed, when it was time for me to go back home I would cry and cry and cry to leave my grandparents. Simply said Good bye is just to hard for me.

Now is coming up on the time I have to say Good Bye to my Grandma. Nothing has changed, I still feel so sad. My Grandma is in her 80's and has had a good long life. But It's so hard to know she won't be there anymore. My Grandma has been there through many of trials through out my life. I have so many fun memories of playing at her house, fun trips, foot loops when she would come to California to visit us. Most of all, playing Skipbo ( Skipboo to her). My husband and I since we met have played this game. We usually play a couple of games before bed. When ever I stayed with my Grandma we would play a few games before bed too. So she is never to far from memory.

I am so glad my Grandma got to meet my daughter at Christmas time. But I am so sad that my Daughter won't be able to really know my Grandma. My Heart also goes out to my Grandpa. I know he really loves her. I can't imagine after a life with Brett how hard it would be to say Good Bye. I pray that he is comforted along with all the others in my family.

Play Date

Cory and Goldy came over. It was fun to watch the girls together. Now that they are both so much more active. Kylee is only a week younger then Kaiya. But is crawling so much better. They are so cute together.

Jason's Birthday

So our Friend Jason turned 29! We had a Birthday party at his house. We played some games, and of Course Guitar Hero World tour. Jason this year got into Dental School. So his awesome wife made him a Tooth Shaped Cake. We had a lot of fun hanging out with them, and our other Friends the Anna and David Nelson were there. Here are pictures from our night. The kids enjoyed them self, the adults and even the babies. We didn't get home until 1:30am. Kaiya enjoyed getting lost in their big king size bed when she finally crashed around 11pm. I love any excuse to get together with friends.

New Years

So I finally got time to upload our new years pictures. I am so mad at myself for not taking more. We had a ton of fun playing rock band and eating yummy food that everyone brought. I made some of my Dad's homemade salsa, cookies, and sausage balls. We had some pretty cool fireworks too. I am so excited for a new year. We have so many fun new things planned and hopefully some vacations too :).
