Trials

So for those of you who don't know, this last week has been a very trailing one for us. We have been trying to get our apartment management to let us move for awhile because our whole place smelled like smoke and was giving Kaiya a cough and making us all smell bad. Well last Tuesday they called and said they had an apartment we could move into but we would have to move by that weekend. We were way excited to be able to move. The apartment they had was one of the newer ones. They are bigger, have a laundry room and a huge screened in patio. But It was going to be kinda hard to get everything packed and ready to go in such short notice. On top of it all Brett had a Massage CE class that weekend and was going to be out of town. So really we had to try to be moved by Saturday. Well long story short thanks to amazing friends and an awesome Mother in Law we got it done. I am soo grateful for the friendships we have found out here. It really helps to feel like you have family when yours is so far away. Also Brett's Mom is Amazing. I have no clue where she gets her energy done but she is always ready to help on the shortest notice. Well After getting everything done that Saturday night the Lady I have been Nannying for calls to tell me she quit her job, so in return I was out of a job. Well with the economy the way it is I knew Brett and I were gonna be in some trouble. It's been pretty hard to deal with the stress of not knowing whats going to happen and how we are going to make it. Thank goodness for Brett reminding me all the time everything will work out. I starting to feel like it will. Nothing has really changed though he is looking for a second job so I can stay home with Kaiya, but I am also keeping my eye out for another babysitting job to help. Neither one of us want Kaiya to end up in daycare. But I will say I have enjoyed so much just being a Mom and wife this week. I love being able to spend so much time just focusing on the two of them. I am happier, eating healthier, exercising and all around a happier person. Its weird cause I should be losing my mind. But I guess I know that wouldn't help much. Anyways Keep us in your prayers that the right job will come along.

It's good to see God working in your life, even by allowing you to experience trials. I'm happy for you that you have such a strong and supportive husband. That makes the road of life so much easier to travel. Congrats on the new place.
